Music trend and megapixel during 2006

During 2005 the music was in focus and if to believe in LG the trend will last even during 2006. Music will continue to be important for the buyers and at the same time more and more models will get a camera, even the cheaper ones.

- We will introduce a phone with a five megapixel camera and then you seriously are able to say that a mobile camera can replace a digital camera, says Casserstedt.

LG doesn' t believe in Mobile TV during 2006, but that is more depending on TV broadcasting than the phones in particular.

- Asking around internal, when mobil TV will be initiated, I recieved the answer that it's all depending on the broadcasting. As soon as the broadcasting will be initiated I'm convinced that we are able to provide TV mobiles, says marketing manager Teija-Marie Pierre.

The p>However there are few words spoken about the result of the co-operation, what it will lead to. Tre have been discussing the faster 3G-standard hsdpa and about IP-telephony via Skype, this have not yet been a subject of discussion with LG.

Skype is still only something for Windows Mobile, and a smartphone from LG doesn't seem to come in the near future. LG have licence to use Symbian , but have not yet done that in Sweden, according to Niklas Casserstedt it isn't even under consideration.

About the design, LG believe that different colours will be the primary way to stand out from the rest. The model M6100 will be released in a gold-coloured version. Moreover, as a complement to the black and silver-coloured mobile phones that dominated during 2005, they will put an effort in intense colours, says Jan Marttila new sales manager at LG, with a past at Sony and Sony Ericsson.
