Wilma - Sony Ericsson with 3-megapixel camera?
According to persistent rumours Sony Ericsson in a little while plan to release at least one follow-up from the best-seller camera phone K750i. 3-megapixelcamera will be included. There are also some rumours of a 3G-phone.
One of the pictures, that leaked out, shows an internal presentation on the display, were upcoming phones, most likely a photo from a meeting at Sony Ericsson somewhere in the world. In the presentation you are able tom read ''Wilma successor to K750i". Sony Ericsson usually uses women names as ''worknames".
Wilma, according to rumours, is a 3-megapixelphone. Moreover it includes 3G and at front a 1,3-megapixelcamera. The better-quality camera at the back takes pictures with 3,2 megapixel resolution.
The pictures we have says present a successor to Sony Ericsson K750i. But here without the front camera for videocalls. According to rumours Sony Ericsson will release a plain gsm-version of Wilma. It will have the same 3-megapixelcamera, every other features as Wilma except for 3G. It could be the same phone you see on these pictures. Other rumours is that Wilma maybe will be released in a version with AGPS included, in other words with built-in GPS-antenna, this function were common in several 3G-phones from Motorola and in a short while also Siemens.
The new phones says to have a great improved menuesystem. The display resolution are better than K750i, which is 240 x 320 pixels, a so called QVGA-resolution. The weight is told to be 108 g and size 106,8 x 45,2 x 19,2 mm.
