Samsung ZX20 - the first one in the world with hsdpa

During the second quarter of this year Samsung will release the 3G-phone ZX20. It will be the first hsdpa-phone that has been put on the market ever. Hsdpa will make faster mobile Internet via 3G.

ZX20 were recently presented at CES in Las Vegas. At the same time, were presented, what will become the first 3G/umts-phone for the US-market. That is ZX10 and will be market by Cingular.

Usual 3G have connection speeds about 384 kbps in Internet. Hsdpa makes the ten double.

ZX20 is accordingly a successor to ZX10 - with faster Internet. ZX20 also includes a built-in camera with 1,3 megapixel resolution. There's also a flash bulb. The build-in player handles musicfiles with mp3 and aac format and videofiles with mpeg4, realmedia and H.263 format.

There is room for a memorycard type microSD (Transflash). Moreover it supports Bluetooth 2.0.

Footnote: The videoformat called H.263 is usually a integral part in files with the file suffix 3gp. That kind of files are sent into videomessages from mobilephones.
